Chinese officials from the province of Chengdu will visit Edmonton on February 13 to promote tourism and investment opportunities in this unique region of China.
China offers specialized business and investment opportunities primarily in the areas of metal fabrication, petrochemicals and building materials.
Chengdu is one of China's major tourism destinations and home to many internationally renowned attractions including the China Panda Reserve, with the Giant Panda Breeding Research Centre.
The goal of the program is to strengthen the existing relationship between Edmonton and Chengdu, and to maximize the opportunities within the target industries.
