Greater Edmonton Promotes Newly Launched Daily Non-Stop WestJet flight to Comox Valley
April 3 - 5
On April 3rd, Greater Edmonton showed their support for the newly launched non-stop WestJet flight to Comox Valley with a delegation of 40 businesses and government representatives for a 2 day Trade and Tourism mission. Among the delegates were commercial and residential realtors and developers, marketing and image display companies, media, Chamber of Commerce representatives and regional municipal and Edmonton Tourism representatives.
The mission consisted of a West Fest reception attracting over 250 Comox Valley businesses looking to build relationships, a golf tournament attracting 30 of those same businesses and a media breakfast. Many relationships were formed, with follow-up meetings planned in the near future. Of the most interesting could be a possible relationship with educational institutions in Comox Valley where labour and training exchanges could begin.
Below are copies of the 6 articles from the Comox Valley area and one from Greater Edmonton as well as some photos taken at the various receptions.
Please watch for further incoming and outgoing Trade and Tourism missions and opportunities with Comox Valley!
