Elk
Island Retreat
Only 30 minutes from Edmonton, this private campground
hidden in a peaceful setting offers summer and winter camping on fully serviced,
or non-serviced sites, including five full sized tipis which sleep ten to twelve
persons comfortably and two trappers cabins.

Sherwood
Forest Campground and R.V. Park
Sherwood Forest is a family operated campground
and R.V. park. The 30 pull-through and powered sites have picnic tables and
firewood. Sherwood Forest offers hot showers, toilets, a coin operated laundry,
a recreational hall, group picnics and a sanitation dump. Additional firewood
and city water are also available. Daily, monthly and seasonal rates are offered.

Strathcona
Wilderness Centre
At the Strathcona Wilderness Centre, campsites
can be booked by individuals and groups. The lodge may be booked for outdoor
recreation, leadership or organizational development meetings and retreats.
Nestled among the tall stands of poplar SWC's primitive campsites are a great
way to introduce winter camping for groups of 5 - 40 people. You can easily
carry all equipment and food in. Water and an adequate supply of firewood are
provided. Located 16 kilometres (10 miles) east of Sherwood Park on Baseline
Road/Township Road 530 and Range Road 212.

Van-Es Camp and Conference Centre
A campground on South Cooking Lake with a Christian program emphasizing spiritual
growth; sports activities, music, nature, craft activities and fellowship with
others of similar ages.
Offers an indoor pool, auditorium, and a rustic chapel available for weddings.
